Am I right, am I wrong
Am I right, am I wrong
the silence of my tears,
these tales of woe and winters long,
to walk the steps of kings and queens
and lament for time forever gone…
the oaks they know as I cannot,
the test of years to become strong.
Shall I go, shall I remain
in these empty rooms,
these halls of history reflect my pain,
to speak of knights and thieves
deeds remembered with pride and shame….
these hallowed doors admit as I cannot,
light to chase shadows of blame.
Shall I love, or be alone
within this fortress that whispers,
these walls of stone,
rule over a kingdom of memories and dreams
to sit upon this lonely throne….
This rock, it knows as I cannot,
how the eons pass turning man from flesh to bone.
