I don't watch a lot, but I like
the X-Files,
Monty Python's Flying Circus,

Harvey Keitel, John Travolta (for his coolness),
Johnny Depp (for the roles
he plays and how he plays them), Robin Williams (a genius), Anthony Hopkins, Nicolas
Cage, Roberto Benigni, and others...
Actresses:
Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep,
Jodie Foster, Susan Sarandon,
Sissy Spacek, Winona Ryder, Juliette Lewis, Meg Ryan (she is cute), Gwyneth Paltrow (even cuter, and one of the few women who don't look ridiculous in baby pink clothes!) and others... (they are all great actresses who make you forget they are playing roles)

Some of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, some classical, and Musicals
"The God of Small Things" (Arundhati Roy), "Lolita" (Vladimir Nabokov), "Emma" and "Sense and Sensibility" (And most other Jane

Places on the globe:

the best cities are Amsterdam (NL) - my all-time!) favourite!, Edinburgh (UK), Dunedin (NZ), Perth (WA, Australia), Vancouver
(BC, Canada), Vienna (Austria) and Cardiff (Wales, UK).
Wonderful regions to be are the South Island of New Zealand, the volcanic area of the North Island, NZ, the Isle of Skye (Scotland, UK), the Great Ocean Road, esp in winter (VIC, Australia), northern sweden.
Other very nice regions are the northern part of Scotland, Cornish Coast (England, UK), Fraser Island, (QLD, Australia), around Abergavenny (Wales, UK), Bungle Bungles (WA, Australia), Kakadu NP (NT, Australia), Bryce Canyon (Utah, USA).
I also know of this certain secluded small
beach in Portugal (Algarve) where it is nice to hang around. Other nice beaches are found along the Australian west coast.
If you want to see a nice sunset, Bungle Bungles (WA, Australia), Mindil Beach (Darwin, NT, Australia), Suomenlinna Island off Helsinki on a fine autumn evening (Finland), some South Pacific island, off Penzance (Cornwall,
UK), or somewhere above the clouds in a plane are the places to be.... (Yes, I have travelled a lot! *smile*)
For more information on some of these places, check out my travel site!
Food:
Pizza with tomato, cheese, sweetcorn, bacon or ham and hot peppers. Also Spaghetti with vegetable sauces or pesto or some
other sauce. And my own home-made Chilli con carne tastes quite nice too (if I may say so myself), or Spätzle with onion,
bacon and cheese. Further food include all kinds of salad, yogurt, feta, ice cream....
Drinks:
Water, mineral water, Spritzer (wine plus mineral water), Cadbury's drinking chocolate, Bailey's, Strongbow Cider, and hey, I don't mind Champagne
either! ;-)
&
Fruit & Vegetables:
Broccoli, sweetcorn, cucumber, strawberries !!!, red grapes, Granny Smith apples, "peaches" (I'm going to the country... ;-))
Jokes about men:
A man saw a sign saying "Drink Canada Dry". So he moved there...
I asked my date if he had ever read Shakespear. He said "no, who wrote it?"
Think that's stupid? He wanted to be a farmer. So he studied pharmacy...
Two men are out hunting and they get into an argument. "Those are deer tracks", one insists. "No", says the other, "I am sure
they are elk tracks". Just then, the train hits them...
Why do there have to be men? - Ever seen a vibrator mowing the lawn?
How does a man spell "farm"? - E-I-E-I-O ...
I called him illiterate. He said the joke's on you, my parents weremarried.
Why did the man want to live to be 102? - He heard very few people die at that age.
How do men take bubble baths? - They have beans for dinner ...
A man goes into a drugstore and asks for a deodorant. - "The ball type?" - "No, it's for my underarms."
They asked a man at the pizza parlour if he wanted his pizza cut into four or eight pieces.-"Better make it four", he said, "I don't think I can eat eight."
Other things I like but don't really know what category they belong to:
The Scottish accent, clotted cream teas *yummy*, incense sticks, cuddling with my boyfriend, funny people, taking silly pictures, taking good pictures, kids, november winds, cuddly toys, light spring rains
Yup, there ARE things I DON'T like:
Hiphop, Techno, Dancefloor, Rap, Rave, Speed Metal, Take That and the like, Kelly Family, action movies, silly TV (talk)shows, vain people, know-alls, "real" tourists who don't care for the country they're in and the people who live there, crowded touristy places, spending holidays in just one place (hotel with swimming pool, all inclusive), hanging around on the beach day after day, indoor pools, spinach, pudding, jelly, beer (don't kill me for this!!!!), the time around Christmas, smoke, drugs, sardines, heat and bad jokes about women. That's about it I guess... oh, I also hate phone calls at 7am or getting up too early *L*
