Saving your current stats I have a character named Caramon which we will use in all examples. (3125hp 1290mn 1203mv -1000al 4823723xp) Click on the button marked Triggers to open the screen that matches this picture. Because my align goes negative, and zMUD treats the - as a hyphen and not a negative
number sign, I use the (%*) identifier to capture it all. Notice also, the variables this
trigger declares all start with CARA. This is to let me know its Caramon's information.
Change this to match your character. In future triggers, you'll have multiple character's
stats on one character's screen. If you do not change them, you will wind up with the same
stats being reported for all of the characters. In future variables, the Use default box will be checked, and there will be a default
setting for it. After making the trigger, make sure all 5 variables have been created. What to DO with the stats once they are saved... Once you have saved the stats, you can use them to report your stats to another character, say them in an alias, almost anything ... However to output variables to the MUD, you will need to check the "expand variables" option ... located here. Click general, then ... Place a check in all boxes as you see here. This will also enable you to use <>'s and such in titles etc. Notice also, on the left the words "Command Parser" are highlighted. While you are here, highlight "Spam Protection" and do this... This will keep you from seeing "PUT A LID ON IT!" when you are reading notes. |
