Steve Bennett 
Besides being one of the primary writers and producers (along with Steven
Courtney) of The Steves, Steve Bennett (a.k.a., Bennett Rabiega) has had
a varied career in contemporary music.
After hooking up with Steven Courtney and his wife, Joyce, in the late
'80s to form the band "The Agents," Steve has played in rock bands, country
bands, and released the (now out-of-print) solo album, Jar of Clay.
A respected songwriter, his songs have been recorded and performed by
Charita, Matters of the Heart, and Steven Courtney, among others.
His solo performance of "Sunday Comes Around" was featured on
the WJTL (FM 90.3) Compilation CD, Unite.
He has worked as a producer/arranger/musician others, including: Steven
Courtney, Darryl Swavely, Beth Herr and The Mystery.
A music composition major at Cumberland College, Steve has composed the
scores for 5 original musicals, in conjunction with Scott Warfel and Craig Davis of First
Stage Theatre in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
Thoughout all these periods, Steve Bennett has continued to work with his
long-time friend Steven Courtney on a variety of projects, culminating in the band, The
Steves.
With the help of fellow bandmates, Jeff Stadden and Hank Rogers, they
continue to follow the music wherever it takes them, and have a lot of fun and laughs on
the trip.
Currently, Steve Bennett lives with his wife (Barbara) and their three
children (Dan, Nicole and Lindsay) in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
