Hi I'm also a new comer to this sicht,and I'm not sure what started this
 but I'd like to respond to your question.  I have and 8 year old girl
 with ayticpical autism and LD.  After one year on publicand one year of
 privet school, I'm homeschooling.  And it's wounderful!!!  I'm not
 saying easy, but it's helped her so much!!!  She's more relaxed, can
 work at her pace at what she's interested in and can do her homework
 standing on her head if she wants.  It's not as hard as you think it is
 and doesn't take up that much time.  For your age child probebly half a
