It Takes a Lot!

Stormer (Mary Phillips)

Mary Phillips is the shy and compassionate member of the Misfits know as Stormer. Stormer is the composer and keyboardist for the group.
While she would rather write meaningful and sensitive ballads, she pens the somewhat selfish sounding hits that accompany the sizzling music of the Misfits. At one time, this ability to write wasn't taken for what it was worth and Stormer left the group. She formed both a partnership and a friendship with Hologram keyboardist, Kimber Benton.
The collaboration proved a success as the album went platinum. Even though Stormer eventually returned to the Misfits after that, she and Kimber have managed, to spite their rivalry on the music charts, to stay good friends.
Stormer has close ties to her brother, Craig Phillips, as well. Craig was chosen as a semi-finalist in the Starlight Music Talent Search. While in town, Stormer never offered any harsh feelings to his wanting to join her rival group.
Stormer's caring nature and good heart are sometimes at war with her low self-esteem and allow her to be easily manipulated by the otehr Misfits and so she stays with them.
