Aja Leith

Aja Leith was one of the first of the foster girls brought into the home of Jacqui and Emmet Benton. Her tomboyish charm quickly won over the Benton's young daughters, Kimber and Jerrica. Aja also impressed Rio Pacheco, Jerrica's then-childhood crush with her mechanical interest and knowledge. As she grew up, Aja developed quite a knack for most things mechanical and technical.
This talent later came in very handy after Aja took her place as lead guitarist for Jem and the Holograms. At a "command performance" in Washington, D.C., Aja helped put together the super computer, Synergy. What was so amazing about this was that even the Pentagon scientists instructed by the President to find out what Synergy was agreed that it's circuitry was "too complex".
It was Aja who also retrieved the voice tracks of Jacqui Benton from the deep recesses of Synergy's vast memory banks. This act of computer wizardry made it possible to produce "Starlight" a commemorative album of Jacqui's.
Aja is also a devotee of the martial arts and is quite a skilled combatant. Her interest in physical fitness helps, not only in this area, but in all parts of her life.
Aja had a brief romance with the incredibly handsome, Craig Phillips. It was during the search for a new drummer for the Holograms that Aja first met Craig. The two were instantly attracted to one another and sparks most definatley flew. When Craig tried to pry information as to Jem's true identity from her, Aja stood firm against revealing anything. This integrity and loyalty to her friend impressed Craig all the more.
It wasn't until the Holograms journeyed to England that Aja found out that Craig was, indeed, the brother to Misfit, Stormer. This new shocked her but didn't undermine what she and Craig had discovered in one another and the romance is still in progress.
Beauty, talent, and an incredible stubborness make up the guitar-playing, martial artist that is a driving presence in the HOLOGRAMS!
