late Wednesday 27 June, when the 189 General Assembly members approved
the 20-page Declaration
of Commitment.

Security Council welcomes Declaration
28 June 2001 – The United Nations
Security Council has welcomed the Declaration
of Commitment
adopted yesterday by the Special Session of the General Assembly
on HIV/AIDS and praised the practical measures contained in the
document.
