This page is dedicated to the memory of my dear, sweet Dad who passed away April 28,1999.

Sometimes the world would spin the wrong way,

But when I looked in your eyes

Your time in this world was short,
But you touched so many lives,
With your warm and loving heart,
Always giving and never taking.

Your laugh will never be heard again,
Your strength to be tested no more,
Your embrace no longer felt,
And your past mistakes forgotten.

You gave me hope and you gave me love,
And it was always more than enough,
And no matter how this world spins
I will always remember you.

Your memory will live on in my mind,
And your love will live on in my heart,
And your kindness in the hearts
Of all those you touched with your love.

Days, months, years
All went by without a word,
Nothing was spoken, nothing was heard,
The only thing felt were tears.

The tears a child cries
And the question, why?
The years turned into a decade
And the memories began to fade.

Life went on while you were gone,
So many dreams achieved
And many goals reached,
Each one proved that I was strong.

Strong enough to live without you.
Then one day, out of the blue
You stood there before me
And in your hands was the key.

The key to the years before
And all the memories that were gone.
Where it seemed there were none,
There are now many more.

Many memories we have created,
Memories I'll cherish forever.
A bond was finally formed
Between a father and a daughter.
