Change the values for WIDTH and HEIGHT to the actual values for your image
using the pixel measurements of the image. |

Step 3:
Customizing the applet - Colors (Recommended) |
|
There are two colors to the time stamp applet: the background color and
the text color.
The BGCOLOR parameter determines the color of the background of the date and time, or color of the applet. It is
specified in hexadecimal, as in HTML. Defaults to white.
The FGCOLOR parameter determines what color the text should be. It is specified in hexadecimal, as when you create
your HTML pages.Defaults to black. |

Step 4:
Customizing the applet- Specifying Time (Recommended) |
|
You have the option of displaying the time using civilian time format, military
format, or not including it in the applet at all.
The SHOW TIME parameter allows you to choose if the time will be included in the applet. Insert YES as the value
of this parameter to display the time, since the applet will default to not showing the time.
The MILITARY TIME parameter gives you the option to display the time, if so desired, in military format. Substitute
YES as the value for this parameter to use military time, otherwise the applet will default to using civilian time. |

Step 5:
Customizing the applet- Date Format (Recommended) |
|
There are several ways to display the date on your pages. Select from three
versions: long format, short format or numeric display.
The DATE TYPE parameter allows you to choose how the date will appear in the applet. Enter LONG as the value for
this parameter if you would like the complete month, day, and date in the applet. For example, Sunday, January
31, 1999. Insert SHORT as the value if you prefer the abbreviated version of the date. For example, Sun., Jan.
31, 1999. Use NUMERIC as the value if you prefer the date to be all numbers. For example, Sun. 1/31/99. Notice
that the short day is used for this value. Defaults to LONG format. |

Step 6:
Customizing the applet- Font (Recommended) |
|
There are three parameters to control the appearance of the font, FONT NAME,
FONT STYLE, and FONT SIZE.
The FONT NAME is the actual font to be used and can be:HELVETICA, COURIER, TIMESROMAN, SYMBOL, or DIALOG. Insert
your choice in the value section of the parameter named "FONT NAME".
FONT STYLE is the style of the font and can be: PLAIN, BOLD, ITALIC or BOLDITALIC. Insert your choice in the value
section of the parameter named "FONT STYLE".
FONT SIZE is the point size of the font. You can choose any integer, but don't make it too big for the image, or
too small to read. |

Click on the File Manager button below.
Follow the File Manager instructions and save the HTML.
