_____My INTERESTS__________ Recommended Readings : Dilbert is among the few comic strips I still read in the Chicago Tribune. I still miss reading Calvin and Hobbes and the Far Side, but life goes on. Fox Trot, Mr. Boffo, Doonesbury, Peanuts, and Mother Goose and Grimm are the others I often read. Those not found in the Trib include: Red Meat and Bloom County. But for those who are more mature than me, I advise such columns by the late Mike Royko (So long Mike.) and Dave Barry. Sports & Leisure : I actively work out and I am also involved in Tae Kwon Do. I like to mountain bike even though there aren't any mountains here in Illinois. Basically, I like playing all kinds of sports. Of course Chicago sports teams are my favorites... Why do the Cubs suck so bad? Music : Among the bands I listen to are the Pet Shop Boys [Virtually], The Smiths [Cemetary Gates], Gene, Sundays [my finest hour], The London Suede. I am also a big fan of Mozart, Billy Joel and George Winston. I have taken up guitar and once took piano lessons a long time ago. Also, WXRT is the best radio station in Chicago, although I still like to listen to oldies stations. Chicago's Oldies 104.3 WJMK has the best stuff. Arts & Entertainment : Artists I have come to admire are Georges Seurat, Claude Monet, Edward Hopper, and Andy Warhol. Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La grande Jatte is my favorite painting. Favorite TV shows include Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Seinfeld. _____All ABOUT ME__________ What am I up to? : I am a senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science minor. Java Page - Coming Soon. Biography : I was born on May 23, 1975 and raised near the north side of Chicago, IL. There I attended St. Hilary's Catholic School from kindergarten through 8th grade. My family then moved to the town of Kenilworth on the North Shore, where I finished junior high at Joseph Sears School. I ended up graduating from New Trier High School, as class of 1993.
