Hi, I'm happy that you could join me! If you have visited me before, you might have noticed that there's not a lot of changes. However, I have added some new pix so why don't you scroll down and check it out, alright? If you don't know me, my name is Stacy. My 411: I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and I plan to continue my education this summer to obtain my Master's degree in Social Work. I wouldn't say that I love school, but I believe that the more education you have, the better opportunity you'll get...Well, that doesn't apply to everyone because some people are just born lucky just like Bill Gates! So, do you want to know if I have someone special in my life?? Well, you must scroll down to find out!
My favorite TV shows are "Gilmore Girls" and "Charmed." It might sound silly, but whatever I'm doing I have to make sure that I am home or there's a TV around when my favorite shows comes on. My personality is sweet, friendly, and romantic. With friendship, I love to have many friends but I hate friends that are fake, deceiving and lying. I rather have no friends than to have friends like that! Enough talk about my "good" personality because as you know, there's always a flaw in everyone and mine is that I'm very stubborn and hot tempered, so don't get on my bad side! hehehe!! As romantic goes, I'm not so much into chocolate candies or a dozen roses, but a simple candle light dinner or a bouquet of tiger lilies or anything that makes my heart grows fonder would be lovely! My turn-offs are men that are selfish, immature, arrogant, and rude. My hobbies are going shopping (what girl doesn't love shopping?), bowling which I still can't curve the ball, fishing/crabbing, working-out, and creating this homepage (I'm no computer programmer but I hope it'll do)...Besides those hobbies of mine, I love to hangout with my girlfriends and just chill...I also love to go dancing (it's a good way to burn those fat) but I wouldn't say it's one of my hobbies because it gets boring! Right now, my interest is being involved in the Vietnamese community, I especially enjoy modeling for fashion shows and being a dance performer. The experience has been good and I'm having a lot of fun. I've gotten to meet a lot of new people which I always love to do. I'll stay with it as long as I can and as long as I'm interested in it, and who knows where it could lead? For now, I'm just going to enjoy it and have fun!
This summer 2002, I plan to go to Orlando, Florida. It will be my first time there and I'll be going with 9 other people so it'll be fun. Last summer 2001, I visited Vietnam for the 1st time and even though it's HOT, I really enjoyed my time there. To all the people who haven't been there, I want to let you know that the clubs there are really COOL and, for the girls, they have soooo many stylish SHOES and pretty Vietnamese long dresses that you can't even imagine; you'll just probably want to buy them all . . . You'll love it!! One of my dream is to travel around the world to different countries and states, however, at this moment, no $$! Below are studio pictures taken in Vietnam. If you happen to go to Vietnam, you should take LOTS of pix because it's really cheap and the pix turns out really NiCe!! Most importantly, it's great for modeling and wedding pictures because it'll save you a lot of $$$! Hope you like it . . .
Well, did you enjoy those pictures? It seems to me that where I live, there's not a lot of studios that take nice pix yet price is cheap/reasonable. I just don't understand why we can't take good pictures here in the U.S, compared to Vietnam or Hong Kong since we got all the high-tech equipments? Some of my girlfriends goes to Hong Kong or other country to take their pix because it's a lot nicer and cheaper than here...Maybe there are studios that take nice pix but I would assume they must be expensive. Otherwise, I would really like to know where you can get nice pix around here . . . Well, here are some pix I took at home and edited myself for fun!
Here is a pix of me w/an ao dai (Vietnamese Long Dress) with a touch of the modern style.
Ooh, check out that legs eh?
I was wearing this for a fashion show. I love wearing ao dai!.
Alright, I admitted . . . I only wanted to do the fashion show because
it's an excuse for me to wear the ao dai!
Don't I look like a traditionally Vietnamese girl?! hehehe!.
Well, had enough of me yet? Getting bored and tired?
I hope not, because there's more of me to reveal!
Some of you might think that there's too much pictures of me, but heck, I don't care because
you gotta take a lot of pix of yourself before you get all wrinkled and old!! hehehe!
Well, here's the love of my life!
Honey, you're special to me . . .:
My fiancé and I have been together for 9 years now, going on 10. We've been going out ever since we were in high school... How romantic eh? A word to the wise...It takes a lot of work to stay in a relationship so don't give up so easily. We have our bad times and good times, but no matter what, we always try to stick it through. And I'm very happy that our love lasts...To friends who's in a relationship, I wish you the best! And to others who's not in a relationship, I wish you luck finding that special someone!! COMMUNICATION and TRUST is the key in a good relationship. But I guess, that depends on what each couple expects in a relationship. Even though I've been together with my fiancé for a long time, I can't say that I'm an expert in a relationship because as I see it, "One never knows what will happen in the future" For me, I'm just blessed what I have now.
