This sketch was done in the last week of June 2000, on a particularly warm sunny day (I was actually wearing shorts!). It is of the little-known Gristhorpe Sands (near Filey) with the headland known as Cunstone Nab in the background. This is possibly the most difficult to reach of the beaches near Filey (exepting perhaps Cornelian Bay) and recquires a scramble down a relatively new landslide...
