Anyhow, this is day one in a break from a week long heat wave, and here I sit.  Most of the weekend, and even today, I'm funkin' again.  I can't put a finger on it, but I suspect it has to do with my financial stability, or lack of it.  The major overtime at work has come to a halt, and that extra money sure makes one feel a whole lot more secure in life.  I've been sulking, unmotivated in doing anything constructive around the house.  I need a vacation, and bad!

And guess what?  I'm taking one, a trip out to Arizona to see my brother next week.  I'm ecstatic, and at the same time down.  It's that money thing again, but I need to just enjoy the trip and the chance to get far, far away from here.  And I'm sure I will enjoy every minute of it when the time rolls around, which is this Friday.

Instead of flying, my parents decided to drive out there and offered me the chance to go.  I'm not to gung ho on spending two-plus days couped up in a car, but it will be an opportunity to experience some new scenery.  My brother does have internet access, so I just might throw up an entry or two while there, but don't hold your breath waiting.  Like you do anyhow, huh?

Me and KittyKat are watching one of the bunny rabbits making its way from the backyard towards the frontyard via the driveway, so I think I'll get this uploaded and kick back for a short while...
