When did you say goodbye
My mind looked everywhere
I looked through past pages
Found nothing written there
I went along the usually path
Poured it over in my mind
Never noticed any goodbye
No farewell could I find
Was this a mistake of mine
No goodbyes could I see
Just emptiness and silence
Left with emotional injury
Is silence the way to go out
Ignoring and taking no part
I never heard you say goodbye
But I feel the ache in my heart
Hope
Chipping Away At My Block
Coaxing me out, helping me talk
Thoughts and emotions run amok
I appreciate a friend like you
Coming chipping away at my block
No need for hammer or chisel
No its not of stone or wood
Just your hand and listening ear
Then out my emotions can flood
Appreciating the communication
Boundries you and I define
Its the talking openly and clearly
Paths cross in sweet moments of time
Thoughts change from time to time
Sweet tender words come coaxing me
The days I have that writers block
We were found chatting so cosily
Chipping away at this block of mine
Take thoughts wandering aimlessly
We find a place to take those thoughts
You walk and talk them with me
Here chatting we both stabalize
You bring balance the more we talk
With you heart and mind both agree
Holding my hand its onward we walk
Hope
Love And Roses
Those roses were so beautiful
They will always be with me
I have now placed the petals
In pages one,two and three
Roses lovingly sent to me
Blooms in white, pink and red
Enclosed in my poetry book
On a table beside my bed
They all stay fresh in my mind
Love and roses I connect the two
Place beneath the rose petals
Are the messages written by you
All have some loving message
I remember the first roses white
Attached to them were the words
Thanks for the wonderful night
The pink ones in my second page
Pretty , delicate and so fragile
You saying they remind you of me
You drew onto the message a smile
Then came the romantic red roses
Two hearts on the message in red
The hearts and ribbon, the love of two
Two roses ,two hearts we thread
Hope
