Bob Rosenbaum is an accomplished writer, with
experience encompassing the fields of journalism, broadcasting, education
and high technology.
Most recently, as a Senior Writer
for Siemens AG, a leading global supplier of telecommunications equipment, he
guided the development of strategic marketing concepts and materials for a
highly successful broadband access switching platform.
HROUGHOUT HIS
CAREER, Bob
has combined his skills as a seasoned writer and editor with his exceptionally
strong ability to communicate technical concepts. Over the last 15
years, he has advanced to become a key contributor to high technology organizations
throughout the world.
Many clients have cited Bob's unique ability to illustrate complex technologies, which
he attributes to his long experience as a photographer. Bob's childhood exposure to complex
photographic processes heightened his curiosity for new technologies, and strengthened
his sense of design, organization and presentation - important elements in his work today.
An engaging team player, Bob has also built and led teams of proactive, creative and
dedicated professionals to support projects in many settings and industries. He has an
innate ability to manage resources and also to improvise when needed.
Bob took his BA in Journalism at
the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he also served as Managing
Editor and Editorial Page Director for the respected "Michigan Daily" campus
newspaper. He continues his studies in post-graduate and professional course work.
URING HIS YEARS as a journalist, Bob also enjoyed a wide listening as
producer and on-air host for a popular National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate
in Los Angeles, California. In the 1980s, Bob received national acclaim for
several programs, most notably "Art Pepper: Straight Life" (1980) and
"Norman Cousins Talks on Positive Emotions and Health" (1983). His
innovative music-and-interview series "Listening In" (1981-84) was
broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Commission's (ABC) FM network, as well as
by many US stations. Bob credits his work in broadcasting as the source for
his cohesive, fluid writing style.
