The picture above and to the left was drawn in 1995, It is the first "realistic" attempt at drawing little Demmy.

At the age of two (starting about four months into her creation) Demmy had the personality of a spunky tomboy. Mischivious but in the most innocent of ways Demmy was always portrayed with a glint in her eye and a frog in her pocket.

Demmy and her then best friend Coly stretch for dance class.

The inside scoupe: Coly is actually one of CJ's characters. She created her in 1996, but dropped her shortly there after. I picked her up and used her in many drawings and stories as Demmy's closet and oldest friend. Throughout this series I use many of my friend's characters, but I left the initial design the same.
