Gifts [ December 28, 2001 ]
The greatest gift from my family was how my grandmother and mother and sister had allied to bake Christmas cookies and shhow up at my place when I had the time before Christmas, and how they decorated my Christmas tree while I was doing chores, the fact they never told me that I was no good for not being around, and instead, helped me out. The greatest gift from my husband's family was the gift of rest and sleep.
From Miki, the best gift of all is being around and doing things for us. Like fixing the old brass table lamp I bought and teaching me to play chess from the book he had when he was five.
Christmas is about family, and I still have more of dreams of it than reality, and then soon the new year comes, may it bring you happiness and success in whatever field you desire, may it be a healthy baby, a new home, excellent squash play (and a diploma), not-so-hectic work, you name the rest. As for me, yes, I do have a few things in mind.
