SUSAN'S WEST COAST SWING PAGE
This page is designed to give information about Susan McMahon-Loveira. Susan beagn dancing in Houston, TX in 1982. She started dancing Country & Western and began entering and winning local events. She later relocated to Miami, FL in 1986 and began dancing with partner Grant Austin. Susan and her partner` won three (3) Division I Grand Championships in the UCWDC circuit. Susan also began teaching in 1986 and is currently teaching today. Today Susan concentrates mainly on West Coast Swing. Susan was also a large contributor to organizing the South Florida Swing Dance Society in 1992, which to date has 267 members. She is also very active in teaching youth how to swing dance. Susan has also competed in the Classic Division at the 1995 American Swing Dance Champioships, in New York. Shas placed in many Jack and Jills, including Phoenix 4th of July, SOS Grand Nationals in Atlanta, The US Open in California, Dallas DANCE in Texas. She is the current Advanced Jack and Jill Champion for the 1999 Dallas DANCE. Susan has taught and judged at many events across the country including Dallas DANCE, Jacksonville's Boogie on the Riverwalk, Tampa Bay's Boogie on the Bay, Orlando's Orange Squeeze, Ft. Lauderdale's Sunshine State Festival and Ft. Lauderdale's 4th of July Swing Bash.
