Verona, Italy - August 1, 2004
Now Italy is COOL! I like Italy! I stayed the night in Bergamo, and slowly worked my way to Verona with a few stops along the way before ultimately working my way to Austria. But I gotta say I like Italian people. They are animated and just interesting as well as friendly. The food is also very good!! I tried what I thought was authentic real pizza in Spain and it sucked!! Made me rethink the idea that youve never had really good pizza until youve been to Italy. Very true. I was temporarily disillusioned as Id somehow figured that Spains authentic Italian pizza would be the same.. it it not! The pizza in Spain sucks!! The pizza in Italy is unbelievably good!!
What else can I say about Italy? Well, its beautiful! I love the architecture and everything else. I hope I can explore it more someday. Thats about all I gotta say as I didnt spend much more time than that to get those impressions.
