SEOUL - January 25, 2000

I've decided to come back to write another journal entry or so... i was going to discontinue the project... but just viewed the viewers who are viewing in....... and there seems to be a small, but steady 'readership'...... anyhow..... just want to the bars.. for the who knows how many night in a row now (especially when you add in the recent vietnam days)... i might discontinue sometime in the future.. but i'll at least add this journal entry.. and who knows how many future ones...

Anyhow, i'm back from Vietnam.. and its cold in Seoul.. too cold.. and my main private teaching job is now cancelled.. which isn't that big of a deal.. there are others... but it opens up an entire new realm of possibilities... such as.... i'll list them...

1. going for the previous Goldman Sachs work contract (they have an office in Seoul)... which may or may not be still offered... the one where i would be doing graphic presentations... same as in New York City.....

2. Signing a legal contract at a language institute.. preferably with adults.. which was always fun in the past.. and would offer me a stable work visa.. combined with active social life... on top of what i alreay have (socially)...

3. Just work the private teaching gigs.. until i have enough money to move on.. and see more of Asia (or anywhere in the world that i may choose)

4. Go to Taiwan for a couple months.. and see what the teaching scene is like there.. plus its warm there now.. as opposed to Seoul.. where i'm not so warm anymore...

5. Screw everything.. and go to Indonesia.. and try to figure things out at some later date.. when i've had my fill of that country.. which is a place I've been wanting to go to anyhow for a really long time...

6. go back to Vietnam. which I could definetely spend alot more time in... wow, that was a good month down there... i hope indonesia compares.. cuz i could really enjoy living in that country.. if i had any money saved up at all...(which i don't)...

7. screw it all.. and take my return trip back to New York City....... try to save money.. cuz its really high income there.. much better paychecks overall than any other city I've ever been.. and once my money is replenished.. and i have several thousand dollars in the bank.. i'll make a longer trip possible...

8. go to California.. try to get state residency.. and then leave again... with future idea of going to graduate school at some university.... i just need to establish bank, drivers license and all that good stuff.. so someday when i 'really' return to the States, i might opt for grad school..

Anyhow, I still don't have a computer.. and not so sure how or when i will have the money to buy one.. or have money to do anything.... not even sure if i can pay the rent this month... (I'm sure i'll figure it all eventually)... i also suppose that i'll continue updating the website.. although it will be a little more sporadic.. possibly every 10 days instead??? not real sure.. i'll try to come back to some more stability.... once i find more stability in my own life routines...
