This is a photo project that I worked on one day with a ride-along I did during my advanced photojournalism class with Michael Goulding of the Orange County Register. He was working on a story about the Crystal Cathedral's "Glory of Christmas" that is put on every holiday season. I got to tag along and, not only watch him work but take some pictures of my own.
It was fascinating watching everyting going on backstage. Since it was a daytime performance being put on for local schoolchildren, not all of the actors were there, so they had to make sure all of the major roles were filled. There was some chaos, but also quiet moments as performers waited for their turn. Click here for the pictures.
