Two weeks from today, I will ritually recant a promise I made to myself. A self-serving promise born of anguish that lacks the vehemence to champion over a selfless promise conceived of love and fate.

Two weeks from today, I finally exile what never was, embrace tightly what really is, and nurture lovingly what will be.

Two weeks from today, I will stand naked before all that bear witness, both in body and spirit, as judges of my worthiness to receive the precious gift that approaches.

Two weeks from today, I will unveil that gift as I am myself unveiled, so that we may be gently shrouded in the elemental woven fabric that is, and has always been, our eternal destiny.

Two weeks from today, the saga of my spiritual journey turns toward a whole new path, paved in pure silver and lit in soft amber.

Someone, please hold onto me and not let go until two weeks from today.
