"Wrap Up"....February 29, 2000

Midnight...

......in these wee hours of the first day of March, I bid February, 2000 a fond adieu. It has been a stressful month, to say the least. I will not rehash everything here; feel free to browse through the archives. It was painful enough going through it the first time, then writing it down to immortalize it all.

As usual, I am finding myself in a state of tiredness this late eve. It is a fulfilling weariness, however, after putting in a full day's work both with clients and in completing long overdue administrative duties. With Reekie breathing deep the breath of slumber at my feet, all is finally calm and serene within this abode. The Goddess, having put in a very full day, too, is in bed asleep with Moo at her feet, undoubtedly still awake, nevertheless.

I am also feeling a great sense of self satisfaction in all the paperwork I completed today. I detest this particular aspect of my job, and if time constraints do not force me from keeping documents up to date, then my procrastination is another willing candidate. Part of what I had to do today was invoicing, however, which usually offers enough motivation in and of itself.

So, without any great fanfare, lacking any bells and whistles, and forgetting the tickertape, I will close this particualr chapter in my life, as well as this particular month. I need to enjoy the solitude for a little while before sleep becomes a call I cannot deny.
