QUALIFICATIONS
I graduated two years early from University, at the age of 19. I have two years of technical writing experience, including my time spent as an Associate Project Manager. I was responsible for creating user and system documentation for internet software projects within the financial industry. I am proficient in Windows 95/98, NT 4.0 and Word 97, and I am familiar with several help file generation packages.I also have several years experience in web development. I am proficient in JavaScript 1.2, HTML 3.0, Homesite 2.0, and Photoshop 4.0. I have created a web site for myself, and have contributed - either wholly or in part - to 5 major commercial and/or corporate sites.
I am growth oriented and have a proven track record operating within lean, but highly effective, profitable and up-beat organisations. Throughout my career I have offered and continue to offer the highest level of performance, as well as an eager and passionate approach to my work.
WORK HISTORY
August 1999 Web Developer, Healthyeverything.com (freelance)
Created an e-commerce site for a distribution agent offering organic goods. Responsibilities included technical research, site layout, design, graphics creation and modification, HTML coding, and search engine registration.The site can be found at http://www.healthyeverything.com.

Responsible for quickly & thoroughly resolving client hardware and software issues. Supported a wide range of software, both general and proprietary, as well as hardware (including laptops, desktop systems and printers, as well as all components thereof).Occasionally involved in activities with direct client contact, including hardware rollouts and Y2K upgrades.
November 1998-February 1999 Systems Support Engineer, Transaction Information Systems
Responsible for installation and support of a Lotus Domino based HTML publishing application. This included client site installation, configuration, and customer support and required knowledge of Windows NT, Lotus Domino R4.5, Lotus Notes R4.5, and HTML authoring tools.As part of the development team, responsible for testing Domino & Java based web products, developing and documenting testing procedures for new & existing products, identifying bugs & design flaws, contributing to design meetings for future product enhancements, assisting with development of training materials, introducing sales staff to new products, and overseeing & directing support staff.
January 1997-November 1998 Associate Project Manager, Transaction Information Systems
Took part in several projects involving thin-client, HTML/web-based, interactive applications for intranet databases for clients in the financial industry.Responsibilities included arranging and conducting design meetings with the clients, setting project specifications based on the clients' needs and existing resources, creating functional design documents, handling content & project scheduling, managing client expectations, co-ordinating resources between the clients and developers, creating documentation, and follow up.
In addition, trained new employees in their roles, trained existing employees in Visio usage, and developed an employee handbook for the role of Associate Project Manager.
Wrote JavaScript code for Stock Market Game 2000, a web-based game designed to teach children about investment. Code included animation effects, calculators, and code stubs to add database connectivity.
Developed a kiosk application for a suite of retirement planning tools. These tools were ported from a web-based system using Visual Basic 5.0 as well as proprietary kiosk software.

Responsible for minutes of company/client design meetings, summarisation and distribution to the design team, and producing functional design documents for several client projects. These documents detailed the functional and technical specifications for each project, and were used by both the development team and the user interface team to develop each project.Also responsible for general document review and production, including user documentation, client communications, and internal documentation.
Reviewed and corrected HTML code for several working web projects, including sites for Guardian Health Service, The Dime Savings Bank, and Alliance Funding.
