Pictorial Assignment 7:
Happy Squirrels in UBC 00'
Y
ou will not believe how many squirrels we have in UBC. If you look closely, there is at least one squirrel in every tree. Fall is their busy time, every single one of them come out to prepare their food in winter. The trees in UBC have their most favourite food. They run up and down the trees, keep eating and collecting the nuts all day long (imagine it's a giantic all-you-can-eat for them…). Sometimes, I think they work harder than any student in UBC. It's one lovely Friday afternoon, lazy sun light, and nothing to do. I lay on the grass and took pictures for them. Dear squirrels, thank you to be my models, how are you guys doing now? E-MailP.S.
We have the very good fall and winter this year, not much rain and lots of sun shine. I guess I have the best working condition in this serie of pictures.A
fter shooting the squirrels, I start to know why that some people dream of those fast telephoto lens: Especially when you take pictures for wild life, and your object is sooooo sensitive to your lens, then you just need a nice telephoto lens. Luckily, I'm not really into wild life, so I don't have to put such kind of item in my wish list, ha!All
