Design and conceptualize websites, with a clear call to action, information architecture and consistent and intuitive navigation. Oracle Online Services – Site providing Customer Relations Management with sales and support services. My responsibilities included interacting with internal clients to understand the business goals, market segment, customer needs and analyzing competition. Translated the findings into a website redesign, providing field sales representatives and executives with the right tools to increase revenue and profitability. Created look and feel, graphics, user interface and usability surveys. Designed marketing demos and prototypes for application tutorials using Flash. Defined innovative ways to showcase seminars and demos on related products. Managed project plans.

 

Senior User Experience Designer, Providian Financial, San Francisco, CA (October 2000 –August 2001)

GetSmart - E-Commerce site offering financial products and services such as credit cards and mortgages. Responsible for integrating customer needs with business goals and providing solutions for seamless online customer experience and customer retention. Authored user interface standards for consistent design throughout the site. Developed information architecture, site map, user scenarios, user interface design, screen templates, heuristic analysis, and usability tests.

Led meetings with marketing teams to determine cross-selling opportunities. Wrote business cases and competitive analysis.

 

Freelance Consultant, San Francisco, CA (January 1999 – October 2000)

Redesigned the intranet site. Related design work to overall business goals of the company. Developed interactive CD to train sub-contractors on wireless local loop networks for basic telephony. Interacted and brainstormed with senior marketing and communication executives.

 

Freelance Consultant, Macro Multimedia, New Delhi, India, (January 1998 – May 1998)

Created interactive CD used to identify organizational behavioral types. Designed corporate brochures, annual reports, direct mails, and leaflets. Used my creative and interpersonal skills with the team.  Worked with sales and marketing teams, to determine target market and selling points for creating effective literature to send to customers.

 

Art Director/Project Manager, Cyber Multimedia, New Delhi, India (January 1997 – December 1997)

Managed production of an interactive edu-tainment CD: "Buddha - the Great Legend". Designed the graphics, interface of the CD. Integrated different types of content (script, design, video, audio, photo, etc.). Created storyboard for animation and video shoot. Directed a team of eleven consisting of programmers, animators, writers, and researchers to develop and deliver the product.

 

Creative Director, Virtual Wizards, Mumbai, India, (August 1995 – December 1996)

Created and conceptualized interactive B2B CD for some of the leading corporations in India including multinational corporations. Communicated extensively with clients. Created an interactive training CD on Myer-Briggs personality test for a leading human resource firm. Managed a group of three, consisting of programmer and junior graphic designers.
