Hi!

My name is Jack Geratic and I live in north eastern Ontario in a town named South Porcupine, which is part of the City of Timmins. Both my parents are from Slovenia so that makes me a first generation Canadian. At an early age people noticed my artistic talents. In high school I completed my first commissioned paintings. I studied and graduated from the Illustration program at Sheridan College. Although portraits are my specialty, I can pretty well do any subject matter given the proper reference material.

Commissioning Art Work

I most often work from photographs as it is the most convenient method for both the client and myself. As for prices, I don't have any etched in stone. I need to know how detailed a piece will be before committing to a dollar figure, but as a general guide a 9"x12" single portrait with a simple background would be about $100 to $130 ($70-$90 US).
