Blotting Time

We have bread here in a basket
plus beer.

Time is moving too smoothly and we suspect slug-nature
when it moodily swallows bits of over-mature
life with that slimy indulgence
usually associated with effulgence.

Let's have a lumpier time
and blot this one up with breadly crime.
