During the spring semester of 1991, I studied
in London as part of James Madison University's
Studies Abroad Program. Besides studying and traipsing
around London, while we were there we took several day and weekend trips
to other places throughout the UK. In March, during the week
we were off for Spring Break, I went to Scotland with my friends Cami
and Terri. It was then that I saw Urquhart Castle, one of the
oldest ruins in the United Kingdom, outlined against the famous Loch Ness.
Although the only pictures I took when I was there were developed
into slides, I found several interesting shots while I was surfing
the Net. I hope they give you a taste of the magic and beauty of
this place.
A sunny view of Urquhart. This is how I remember
it.
