This is the view that you get of Upper Hutt from the top of the Western ridges. The first is of Birchville where we live. Our house is tucked in behind the knob in the centre. In the background you can see the reflection of the town water supply.
This is a closer shot of Birchville suburb. The river loops around coming all the way from the right to the left and back again as is comes around that knob.
This is another suburb of Upper Hutt called Totora Park. The square is Harcourt park and my favourite suspension bridge. The river flows down the line of trees.
