When I first began this, I was planning on writing down my information as per usual, you know, the typical "hi my name is...". But I got to thinking that maybe that wasn't so interesting, and talking about things would be better than labeling and spelling them out. I first of all will start with my basic information for those of you who, understandably don't want to read my life's story to find out my name, which happens to be in it's entirety, Stephanie Michelle Shideler. I am 18 years old. I live in Canada.

I think I will have headings, so if you want to skip certain parts about my life that you just don't care to know, you may, without having to skim through and perhaps miss the important information you were so desperately in search of.

Who I Am.
How do you give the perception you have of yourself without sounding egotistical or self conscious? I guess the best thing I can do is to tell you what I aspire for (sometimes with accomplishment) on a daily basis. I want to be a person with integrity, passion, and strength. Someone who will tell it how it is without hurting people, who will do the right thing, and who is not afraid to try new things. I want to be a free spirit, someone who will pack up their life in a suit case and try a new life in a new place with new people and customs. I want to be someone who loves to learn from others and then teaches them what they know. I want to be someone who can handle being wrong (this I have the most trouble with...lol) and is not bogged down by pride. And finally, most importantly, I want to be someone with ambition that goes for the dream and doesn't stop till she gets there.

My Religion

As you paruse this website you will see some fairly occult symbols and you are probably wondering what is going on. You may think I am a heathen or devil worshipper. I will simply say that I do not believe in even the existence of a devil or Satan or whatever you want to call "it" nor do I believe in the existence of hell....or heaven for that matter (much to the chagrin of my Mormon relatives). I'm not atheist nor am I agnostic. I wouldn't classify myself as really one particular thing, but I am a spiritual person and I believe in a greater power. Fate. Things I Do Not Appreciate
I used to have some big blurb here about all the things I don't like but I've become rather apathetic regarding other people's behavior. All I will say is that I don't like liars (been hurt by too many) or users. If you decide to lie to me or to use me I have only one thing to say to you "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." And trust me, I will know :) I was given the gift of a most excellent intuition.

My Passions

Under this I could write endlessly. I don't even know where to begin...Let's see....I am very passionate about the fine arts. I love music and literature and art. I love performing, although I haven't in a long time. The most incredible high is singing in front of a crowd and having the people enjoy what I am doing, then responding to their energy and the pleasure that exists in that moment. It's magical:)

Books. I love reading. And even more than reading, I love writing. It will be a miracle if I ever finish writing my novel (been working on it since I was 13). My biggest dream it to be published. I want people to enjoy what I have to say and to have them use my writing as an escape.

Classics. Currently I'm attempting to get a major in classics and a minor in english at university. I think I am so lucky to be in that field. It is incredible. The fact that I get a degree for studying art, architecture, literature, history, ancient technology and languages is almost too good to be true. Leading from this...Rome. Oh my god Rome. I have not even been there and I am in love with that city. And then leading from this...travelling. There are so many places I want to see. Culture and custom fascinate me. My body is screaming at me to get out of here and go somewhere. My first choice destinations would be Italy, Spain, and India.
