Ever had an experience that completely changed who you were to the point that you couldn't think of yourself without that experience being all wound through it? That's motherhood for you, without question. All the patter I had written here before seems silly now compared with the person that I am now, the life I have taken on. While I am still my goofy-ass self, I still have an art degree and love my friends, I am, through and through, Katjia's mom. Pretty crazy!
We've been living in Seattle for 4 1/2 years now and definitely feeling at home. I have a great job where most of the time I can paint and make stuff.
I grew up in a biggish city in the "midwest". PLayed in a nearby creek and woods most of my childhood with my younger brother. He's quieT. not me!
Ohio University is where I met some of my dearest friends ever and my love love love, Daniel.
We've all scattered to new lives in different cities (tho some are here!)and I miss them dearly and will remember them always.

I watch a lot of movies(see movie suggestions from me), make stuff, and screw around on the computer way too much. Have been studying several Tarot decks, energy healing and animal communication. Love music. Love realness, but not mundanity. People who are straightforward, but still spontaneous and can see under the levels of usual existence. People who are never cruel..on purpose. People who care about something with some sense of passion. I strive to have some use in this world, to bring others some joy, if only a giggle now and again. And deeply admire others who do the same.
