Poems: Butterfly Death

Butterfly Death

falling through clouds of despair
beautiful but broken wing sagging at its side
butterfly is but a wisp of elements
hardly worth the snap of jaws that takes it
but it's bright display attracts
predatory behavior closing that bold,
kaleidoscope chapter of it's existence
