Dance

She was the blind date I tried to get out of taking to the dorm dinner dance. Thats a story in itself. But I was quite happy I had failed now, based on appearances. The next step was getting to know her. The best part. I was in charge of the music. Unfortunately my collection was not oriented towards dancing. But I did have Hall & Oates' "She's Gone". It was close enough to get us close. And the other music got her interested in my collection. It was perfect. Her long black hair gleemed in the soft light, and her supple waist felt good under my one palm, while her hand fit warmly into my other. We went back after that gentle, swaying introduction to the way we fit, to find more music to merge to. I think we both forgot about the party for a while.
