drops have become heavy enough, concentrated as they are, or
conditions have otherwise gelled correctly, for them to leave the
congregational bed in the clouds and descend to parched earth or
welcoming seas, sometimes spurred to coalesce by sudden extreme heat
of lightning stroke friction between these drops, or between layers
of air, released in one sudden burst of extraordinarily concentrated
energy
