This is a page dedicated to all those very special friends of mine.

Shashi Kiran: She is a cool cat in the US of A. She has been a very close and special person for the last 8 years of my life. We went to arts college together. You see, we got admission to the college on the same day, we got into the college entrance at the same time on the first day, we even went and sat next to each other on the first day in class. From then on we spent the next 5 years being inseparable friends who used to also have these healthy arguments (fights), and make-up immediately afterwards. One of the most gentle and understanding people I know.

Neela: Neela, I met, at my last job as a graphic artist for a software firm. We joined the company within 3 months of each other, to work on one a multimedia CBT project. We made a smooth and very efficient team. We used to go loafing, in Malleswaram, to eat "pani puri" and also do a lot of shopping, till we dropped from sheer exhaustion, or till we hit our parents' curfew time. She is my special sunshine friend.

Prathima: Got to know Prathima from my college days. She always drag me for shopping. She used to be the most fun person, I ever knew. Nicknamed "gunny bag", because of her the heavy sweater and bag which she used to always wear. We shared a lot of good times, and happy times together. Three of us, Prathima, Shashi Kiran and me used to make-up an all girl gang of three. Mostly found hanging around near the college canteen, chatting, gossiping and bitching about everything in general.
Prathima, thank you for all the wonderful things that you have been for me.

Sandeepa: I have known Sandeepa, since August '99. A native of Kashmir, she has her roots in both Punjab and in Karnataka. She is a very friendly person. She is a good dancer, designs beautiful dresses, and also an excellent writer. She can talk endlessly about anything she feels strongly about. She keeps saying to me, "Kya Bandhi hay" and I reply, "Bandhi nahi Bandha". On a constant diet of some sort, I have never seen her eating anything! She probably stays alive by just drinking water and dal water (Lentil Soup). She also keeps trying to break land speed records on her scooter.

The Guys(Friends) in My Life: Most of the people mentioned below have been my colleagues at Guru Infotech and now are good very friends. Everybody has been a good friend but here I would like to acknowledge those special few who have made a difference in my life.

Anup: (a.k.a. Stone boy) I used to think of him as not being very friendly and out going, but slowly as we got to know each other, we became good friends. He is now married and working in the US of A.

Aananth: Like Neela, Aananth too was part of the multimedia CBT project on which, I worked on, when I first joined Guru Infotech. He is very a friendly and jovial person. He always makes me laugh.

Amjad: He is Our Amjad. He has a talent for "Shaayari", though, sometimes the "Sher aur Shaayari" is really gross and disgusting. He also is one of the few people I know, who is in love with all the Hindi movie actresses. Another special person in my red book.

Girish: My friend, philosopher and mind reader, has many times, taken the time and the effort to talk to me while I was feeling down and when I was neck deep in trouble with various projects. He is a budding flute player (flutist?).
Girish, thank you for all your help, advice and good vibrations.

Raghu: He is our man on the moon. He is a person whose sense of humour is always just below the surface. Can you believe it, this guy actually has an elephant in his backyard! He even showed us pictures of him feeding it bananas. He too makes it a point of always keeping in touch.

Ram Kumar: Ramku,my friend and big brother (its a just a figure of speech), is one of the most supportive persons I have known. He is a very fun person to have around. Has a tounge which is completely out of control and makes its own decisions. His favorite song is "Yennadi Menakshi " from an old 70's movie. He is one of my all time favorites.

Ram Gopal: RamG, another strong silent type a person who keeps entirely to himself. A complete gentleman to the core.

Rajeev: The "Materian Man" of Guru Infotech, is one of the most resourceful people. He is in a constant state of tension. I call him "Tension Raja". Including me he has got 80 other friends in the company, out of which, 40 are telephones instruments.

Vatsa: VatCom, is a nice guy. Among all the people I know, Vatsa is perhaps the sweetest person I know. His friendliness has not undergone any change even after he went to the US of A. One of the few people who makes the effort of actively keeping in touch. He perhaps has one of the worlds largest collections.

Sharath: You handsome Guy! That is the general perception us girls at Guru Infotech had of Sharath. One of the nicer people I have ever known. He never has much to say and can be accurately described as the strong silent type.
