SKUNK ANANSIE - PRESS STATEMENT

The multi platinum selling band Skunk Anansie have split up. The band decided that they had taken Skunk Anansie as far as they could and that now the time is right to pursue solo careers. This has been a mutual decision and the band remain the best of friends.

Skunk Anansie formed in 1994 and released three hugely successful albums, Paranoid & Sunburnt (1995), Stoosh (1996) and Post Orgasmic Chill (1999). In total they have sold four million albums worldwide and notched up eight hit singles.

Skin and Ace are both currently working on solo albums, Cass is concentrating on careers in photography and music, while Mark has acted in a short film and also continues to pursue music.

Skin¹s album is due for release early in 2002.

La band con vendite multiplatino Skunk Anansie si è sciolta. I membri della band hanno deciso di avere portato avanti gli Skunk Anansie fin dove potevano e ora è il momento giusto per intraprendere carriere soliste. Questa è stata una decisione di comune accordo e i membri rimangono ottimi amici.
