Longings *

I long only to relax with you beside me always.
Never to part in all our glory.
Though love eternal never dies.
I know we someday must.
Love goes on forever, though life does not.
It is plain to see, forget me not.
For in you is me, in me is you.
Which is love true blue. From me to you.
That love in all its glory is you.
In skies of blue I see your face.
Shining and smiling down on me.

Time

Time! How it does fly. Time! It goes on and on.
It never seems to stop. Time! You can never
go back. Time! It always goes forward. To go
back in time would be grand. To go forward
in time would be nice. But one cannot travel
in time.



Forever and Ever

Forever and ever the search goes on.
On and on. Traveling here and there
forever searching, searching.
Life goes on and so too does the searching.
Always searching but never finding that which
we are searching the world for. 
What we are searching for is some place
that we can never find. Forever and ever
the search goes on.

On a voyage to a midnight dream.
I saw a most wondrous sight.
A beautiful woman coming towards me.
I was like Prince Charming seeing
Cinderella for the first time at the ball.
A most beautiful and wondrous woman she was.
That maiden that appeared in my midnight dream.


A Battle

There is a battle going on.
Not with guns, knives or such.
But yet there is a battle going on.
Sometimes you win the battle,
sometimes you lose.
But yet the battle rages on.
You never win, but you never lose.
