Jo is a native of Amory, Mississippi. As a naturally creative person, she began oil painting on her own as a hobby. As her interest grew, she looked to increase her knowledge and study other techniques. She has studied with various professional art instructors and has developed her own unique style of painting. Her membership in several art organizations emphasizes her continuing interest and dedication to her art.
