We Rode the Winds

As we lay in a bed of roses,
Was it hell or heaven
When we pivot two into one,
And fall into illusion, and
Give way to our desires?

We shared the eclipse of the moon;
As we mingled with the mist
Of midnight, and drank the Red,
Red wine of love.
And you knew I was yours.

It may have been a piece of heaven
When we pivot two into one.
