Hello! I'm Pasionrose.
I enjoy poetry, my favorite poets are Pablo Neruda, Federico Garcia Lorca, and Sylvia Plath.
Love novels by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. My favorite novel is Cien Aņos de Soledad "One Hundred Years of Solitude".
The haiku form is a wonderful Japanese poetry style; poems written by the masters of the haiku tradition Basho, Buson, and Issa are breath taking.
I love long rides to admire the beauty of nature. The mystery that a night holds as the sunrises with splendor...

I was able to capture a majestic sunrise, on a trip to Warm Springs, Georgia in 2000. You can see it in my poem Reflections.
The poem Roses for Lita is dedicated to my grandmother who passed on to be with our lord.
The art is the work of my nephew Jonathan Torres.
In 2000 I obtained assoicates Degrees in:
Computer Science, Information systems, and General Studies. Now I'm working towards my BS in Magament and Information Technology.
It's been three years since I enlisted in the NAVY. The Navy has been good to me!!!
I have met alot of wonderful people that have become my extended family. One of them my very best friend Dan.
My latest experinces:
Fleet Week in NYC, I had the opportunity to be aboard the USS SAN ANTONIO. Cooking for a 924 crew is no piece of cake!!
I also had the chance to participate in the color guard for NASCAR "2006 NEXTEL Cup Series"
Soon I will have some awesome pictures!!!! For now this will do.
