here is a picture of James Tufts, Victoria Dagenais Tufts, Marie Beloin and Jess Beloin. The children are James, Jr and Judith Tufts, children of James and Victoria Tufts. Victoria is better known as Aunt Pat. She is the daughter of Joseph Dagenais and Victorine Beloin.

...and this is my Uncle George (Victorine's oldest son) shown here with 2 of his sons: Joseph Dagenais on his left and "Johnny" Dagenais on his right. The baby is Anne Dagenais the grand daughter of my Uncle George. Her father is Uncle George's first-born son: George Dagenais. The picture was taken outside of Uncle George's apartment on Quaker Lane in West Hartford, CT. I recognize the garage.

This is Grandmother Victorine Beloin Dagenais with her oldest son George in front of my Dad's home. This was taken the summer of 1941 - Victorine died December 7th, 1941.

...and how many remember the Dagenais men at their 'picnics'- this picture was while John Dagenais' house was under construction - at least the front porch. I believe they were blowing up water balloons - it seems like something they would do. All in the family. Joseph Dagenais (son of Geroge Dagenais and the youngest of the group); James Tufts (husband of Victoria Dagenais (Aunt Pat)is the tallest and next to him is my Dad and on the end Uncle Jesse Beloin. Sitting in the back is James Wright, (husband of Laura Dagenais)

This did not reproduce too good but maybe it is clear enough to recognize all - We have on the couch (incidentally this was at Aunt Anna and Uncle Dan's house) Lucy Hopkins Dagenais, Anna Dagenais DeBay, Victoria (Pat) Dagenais Tufts, Ruth Thompson Dagenais. In front (on the floor I guess) are Daniel DeBay and John Dagenais(married to Lucy). Standing behind the couch are James Tufts, and George Dagenais(married to Ruth).

I darkened this picture a bit to hopefully see it better. I would venture to say that this picture came out about 1937 or 1938 when I was about 6 or 7.

The background of this picture is Dan and Anna DeBay's home. This family group picture is taken in the driveway - I have no idea about the year and make of the vehicle or who it belonged to.

IN THE FIRST ROW: We have Jimmy Dagenais (son of the first George, Earl Schneider (son of Isabelle Dagenais Schneider)with Yvonne DeBay (now Hoskins)and my sister Audrey Dagenais (now Roy), Uncle Dan DeBay (married to Anna Dagenais DeBay), and Johnny Dagenais (son of the 1st George).

IN THE SECOND ROW: on the far left (waving) is Sonny or the 2nd George Dagenais,Sonny's wife is in front of Aunt Pat and behind Earl Schneider her name is Dorothy Forbes Dagenais; then Aunt Pat Dagenais Tufts, Aunt Anna Dagenais DeBay, and Aunt Isabel Schneider in front of Victorine Beloin Dagenais and then we have George Dagenais (#1), my dad John Dagenais. At the car is Uncle Jimmy Tufts (married to Pat Dagenais) holding me, Jacqueline Dagenais.

In the last row we have Uncle Jimmy Wright and his wife Laura Dagenais Wright,my mother, Lucy Hopkins Dagenais in back of and to the right of Uncle George. She is holding my brother, John Dagenais.
