Following the voices
Harry makes his way carefully through the gloom. Soon the slope becomes very rapid and he finds it difficult to keep his balance. He lets himself slip slowly forwards but the descent becomes steeper and steeper and he loses control. Alarmed, he stumbles in the darkness, hits his head against a rock and suddenly finds nothing under his feet. Stunned, he falls into the fathomless void beneath him.
