LESSER VILLAINS

Nielas Belair
Nielas is a warrior of the Kirin Tor, an expert marksman with the bow and arrow as well as the sword. Of mysterious origins, he does not talk of his past or of the incident that left his face badly scarred. Power hungry, he deals mainly with the politics of the Kirin Tor and the two sister planets. Nielas becomes involved with the royal court of T'aeryn in an attempt to give the warriors of the Kirin Tor more influence. He conspires against King Halarion and Queen Amarah, and eventually sets a trap for them. He sends assassins to kill the King and Queen while they're on Earth, hoping to provoke a war between the two planets and placing the Kirin Tor in control of T'aeryn. His plan backfires when the Prince Solorion travels to Earth and uncovers his treachery.

Rafe
Rafe was born on Earth in the small village of Uri-Nesh. As Plainsdwellers, his family trapped for food to bring to the village and protected it from the wild beasts. One night, a tiger crept into the village, maddened by an ill-healed spear wound and hungry for the taste of man flesh. It massacred Rafe's family while they slept, sparing no one, and badly mauling young Rafe who barely escaped with his life. The teeth and claws of the tiger horribly scarred Rafe's body. He swore vengeance to kill the tiger when he was stronger, and avenge his family. Rafe slowly healed and returned to the village. He tracked the tiger for many days, finally managing to kill it and eat it's heart. From this he was given the tiger's spirit and shamanistic powers, able to see human's auras from the astral plane. He is hired by Jareil Halcyon as a bounty hunter.

Ronin "Red"
Red was orphaned at the age of five during a raid on his town by the Frigoris River. Jareil becomes attached to the young boy because of the striking resemblance to his brother, Kheiran, who he thinks is dead. Jareil decides to raise the boy as an instrument of death. Red was put under excruciating experiments - with the help of his Dark Talisman, Jareil tore the boy's soul in half and replaced it with that of a fox. Red became twisted, insane, obeying only Jareil's word. Red hunts down his victims and fights with the frenzied actions of an animal. He is one of the most difficult villains to overcome because of his madness and inability to comprehend human emotions.
