HELIOS

Height - 6' 11"
Hair - White
Eyes - Silver blue
Skin - Dusty gold tan

Born at the same time as the universe, Helios is the Guardian of the Sun, the most powerful Star of all because of the life it gives to the planets. He watches over the Earth and T'aeryn closely, shouldering the enormous responsibility for bringing Light to the galaxy. The power of the Sun Star lies within the Sun's Blade, a beautiful golden sword kept in the palace's heart guarded by Queen Myrrh and the Parhelia. Helios had only need to wield the Blade once - against the twisted Parhelia Malus, who turned his back on the Light and sought to steal the Sun's power.

All creatures thriving from the Sun on the planets of Earth and T'aeryn heed Helios' command, particularly those of the unicorns who were born from light at the start of the universe. A warm and enigmatic man, slow to anger and quick to help those in need, Helios lives alone with the Parhelia in his palace on the Sun.

Helios knows of the ancient prophecy that will affect the planets. A time of great darkness will flood the Earth, brought on by the rise of the Dark Lord's Chosen and a single human will decide the planet's fate. On the day of the solar eclipse, the Earth blocked out the light of the Sun to the planet T'aeryn, rendering Helios powerless to take up the Sun's Blade and defend T'aeryn from the Armies of Darkness. He could only watch as the evil creatures of the Dark Lord ravaged the beautiful planet. The Queen Imbrium ignited her Star to supernova, blasting away the Army of the Damned before it could claim Earth, but killing herself and the planet instantly. Helios saves the child of destiny from the destruction of T'aeryn, giving him some of his power and marking him with the symbol of the Sun. Until the time for the child's great future had come to pass, Helios watched over him carefully on Earth from afar, letting no darkness touch the boy until he had come of age.
