The Parhelia
The Parhelia or "Sun Dogs" once were frozen in the constellation Parhelia.
The constellation was Guarded by the Queen Imbrium whose Star was the Eye
of the Parhelia constellation. When Imbrium left the constellation to marry
Prince Solorion, the creatures were set free. The Parhelia flew to the greatest
sources of Light and Life - the Sun and Moon. They served their Queens and
the Guardian of the Sun, Helios, and helped bring the Light to Earth and
T'aeryn.
There are seven main Parhelia, one for each color of the rainbow, Re, Ja,
Ell, En, Ino, Ur, Io, and the two invisible spectrum colors - Ulvi and Inre.
The Parhelia are born and raised in zero gravity, hence their lean, elegant
bodies, long necks and legs. Their wings are membraneous fans that catch
and reflect the light. They can disappear at will, blind and burn attackers,
as well as tear and claw flesh.

Myrrh
Myrrh is the Queen of the Parhelia of the Sun. Second only to Helios, she
guides the Parhelia and the Light to the planets. Myrrh often helps and instructs
the protagonists along the way.

Mere
Mere is the Queen of the Parhelia of the Moon. Once a beautiful and lush
garden, the Moon was devastated by the Fall of T'aeryn. Mere was heartbroken
by the death of her people, and the many tears she shed left permanent dark
streaks from her eyes. Mere stayed on the lifeless Moon living in solitude
and putting forth it's bright silvery glow.

Khayaalah
The Khayaalah are part phoenix, dragon, and unicorn. They are very elusive,
shy creatures living in low orbit around Saturn and Jupiter. They have two
pairs of wings, one membraneous, and the other feathered. They only speak
in dreams and in the minds of willing souls. When approaching the end of
their thousands of years life, they fall to the planet, burning up in the
atmosphere, and are reborn again. They watch over the dreams of man. Some
say these mystical creatures know the gateway to paradise.

Iri'le
This is a breed of unicorn with a horn of ivory. They are very solitary,
preferring to live apart from each other and other creatures in the vastness
of space. They are the most powerful of all the unicorns, they can travel
through space and time, heal the near dead, and change matter. They are immortal,
never dying although they can be killed. These unicorns were created at the
birth of the universe. Two twin unicorns of this breed are the messengers
of Death - Infinity and Eternity.

Chrys'luma
This breed of unicorn has a horn of crystal which it uses to gather the energy
of light. These unicorns are used for traveling in the vastness of space
between the planets. They can travel at the speed of light, heal minor illness
and wounds, and tune living spirits. Their lifespans are only a few hundred
years long. They are the more social breed of unicorn, living amongst humans
near the Star Gates and even taking them as companions.

Kar'dakrin
This breed of unicorn has a horn of precious metal such as gold or silver.
They have the power of Earth and can control earthquakes, wind, water, fire,
and plants. Their healing properties are greater than the Chrys'luma but
not as powerful as the Iri'le. They live longer than the Chrys'luma but only
for a few thousand years. Although very powerful creatures, they are restricted
to the planet Earth, hidden from the greedy clutches of man.

The Felris
The Felris are creatures of the Dark Lord, created by him as overseers of
his Army. They are high-level Demons jammed into rotting bodies with reptilian
features. The Felris are very skilled with weapons, forging their own poisonous
metal blades deep under the Earth's crust. They command the fearsome powers
of necromancy, able to raise the dead by summoning their soulless flesh to
do the bidding of the Dark Lord.
