H. P. Lovecraft, master of fantastic literature, the main part of his books were published in the 'Weird dream' magazine. In 'Cthulhu myths' are collected the major bundle of his stories, where magical keys let the way to non euclidean forms, prehuman hybrids that take the place of demons and bizarre statements leaded by uknown cosmic laws, take away the old-fashioned ghosts from classical tales. Alongside to Lovecraft, there are collected several tales from Arthur Machen, Ambroise Bierce or Lord Dunsany. Remarkables are:'Vinum Sabbati', 'The dogs from Tindalos' or 'The ceremonial'
Charles Baudelaire, the main figure of the damned poetry, he was condemned with the charge of 'outrage against the public ethics and the good behavior' , 'The evil flowers', has almost all the poetry from Baudelaire. Simply a genious, absurd..whatever flower is perfect, The enemy, 'De profundis clamavi' talking by themselves. For me,'The Letheo':..in your full of your scent, to put my painful head, and to breath, like a rotten flower, the repulsive and smooth smell from my dead love..
Pierre de Ronsard, more poetry. Love and hate walk next to the other, in 'Helena loves', inspirated by Helene de Surgeres (1547), Ronsard tells better than nobody this feeling. The statements from the last part, which deal with the 'Carpe diem' short all the things that would have been and never happened:..take advantage of the moment..'
Julio Cortázar, de 'The midday Isle and other tales', and the tale, 'The up side down night' is without any doubt the best. By means of a perfect prose, he erases the frontier between the real thing and the world of the dreams, between the lived and dreamed, between the logic and the reason, having in this way success in very strange situations.
Marcel Schwob, he is almost an unknown, he died like many others as poor as the rats. In'Monelle's story', he tells us his love story with a whore in a very hard way. He claims about the society of his time and damn all the hypocrisy and falseness of the ordinary people.
