Me and my parents in Barra de Navidad!

A picture of me in front of the restaurant for Friday night's dinner. I went to dinner with Beau Greer, a crewmember on a 92-foot motor boat that was docked in the marina at the Grand Bay Hotel. Beau used to live in San Diego and loves to surf. Now he cleans a boat and surfs.

I had shish kebob and he had surf and turf. He got two very small lobsters that I said were crawdads. Veleros has very good coffee, which is hard to find in Barra. Most restaurants serve you a cup of hot water and a jar of Nescafé

Me and my dad and stepmom at breakfast at Banana's, one of the hip restaurants in Barra. I had chilequiles. I don't think I'll have it again.

Michelle, my stepmom, in the back of a wooden car. This impressive, California-legal vehicle was built by Chris and Linda, seated in the front. They have a really nice house on the lagoon with all sorts of handmade wooden stuff in it.

We got to ride to dinner in the car. It was like the Rose Parade: every head turned and I felt like a princess!

Me and my dad and stepmom at dinner, once again at Banana's. I went there three times in one week! This time I had the filet mignon.

I'm pretty sure this was Saturday night with my dad and stepmom leaving early the next morning to sail to Puerto Vallarta. It was a long night for them.
