So many people worry
So many people fear
So many people doubt
They end up in despair
Their lives are full of stress
They don't know what to do
They cannot see the victory
God has for me and you
Satan tries so very hard
To hurt us everyday
He'll do it with discouragement
If we let him have his way
But we can stand up to him
And tell him to his face
There is hope in Jesus
For all the human race
We can rebuke him every time
And submit our lives to God
Then we won't be afraid
As he throws his darts abroad
We can lift high our sword
The word of God and say
Satan you are defeated
Right here, right now, today.
